Interior Design's 2023 Colour Trends

Colour Trends 2023 - Transitioning from Cool and Neutral to Warm and Vibrant

With the release of various colour trend forecasts for 2023, we've been getting a lot of questions around the warmth and vibrancy of the colours - mainly, "Am I really supposed to want to paint my home these colours?!?"

Here's Benjamin Moore's forecast in case you haven't seen it:

The short answer to this question - no.

The long answer - this last year we noticed a transition from greys back to beige, resulting in an increase in the use of warm neutrals on the walls. With this, we saw an uptick in the use of vibrant colours, especially with accessories and window coverings.

This uptick in the use of vibrant colours is why we see the current trends leaning that way; However, this does not mean you have to be painting your walls these colours (unless you want to of course).

These colours are great though for accent pieces, throw pillows, window coverings, etc. By pairing these with a nice neutral, such as Benjamin Moore's Feather Down (OC-6), you can really liven up your space!
