What is Included

Design Planning Meeting

A virtual 30-min design planning meeting, typically 2 days prior to your working session(s), to get clear on your priorities and set realistic goals for the session(s).

Working Session

In our 1 or 2 working session(s), we dive into your design questions. Each day is 3-hours and coffee and pastries are provided. We start the day together, then our Design Lead may break away for a bit to work on the design, touching base as needed. 

We wrap up the session reviewing everything and when we are done you’ll be provided with resources from your session - notes, links, images, and hand sketches so you can implement the design plan with confidence (provided within 2 business days).

Support Call

A virtual 30-min follow-up meeting to be scheduled at your convenience within 60 days of the working session. Use this time to ask any further design questions.

Please note, the discounted rate for the two-session package is only available when purchased upfront. If you initially select a single session and later decide to add a second, the discount will not apply. In that case, an additional session would be priced separately.

Considerations

Making the Most of Our Time

Ensure to have all of your questions written down beforehand, and compile any necessary documents (eg. floor plans from your builder, etc).

 

Availability

This service is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-12:30, either at your home or a local showroom. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate other days at this time.

 

Wi-Fi & Work Area

If we are meeting at your home, we appreciate access to your wi-fi network as cell service can be spotty in the middle of a home. Also, please ensure we have a clean work area to collaborate, such as a dining room table.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 72 hours notice if a cancellation is needed, and we will get you rescheduled as soon as possible. Fees are non-refundable and nontransferrable.

 

Children & Pets

We recommend that childcare is provided for any young children and that pets are put away. This allows us to focus on your design questions and make the most of your time.

 

Travel Fee

A flat $100 travel fee will be added for travel beyond 50km from our office in Beaumont (as per Google Maps).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each day of the consultation lasts up to 3 hours, and we cannot guarantee we will get to all of your questions in that time. This is why we ask you to come fully prepared and ready to make decisions. 

    If you require more time beyond the 3 hours, we are glad to discuss further design service options.

  • Hand sketches may be provided during the working session in order to convey design intent, and will be included as part of the written report. Formal computer drawings are not included.

  • Location depends on what you're hoping to discuss, so it will be finalized as part of the design planning meeting. We typically meet either at your home, or local showrooms.

  • In-home samples are not included as it would be impossible for me to bring everything I have. If some of the design decisions needed to be made involve various finishes, we can opt to meet at a local showroom to go through options.

  • We respectfully request that anyone that is not a decisionmaker for the project not attend. We find that it is more productive if the session is kept to those who are aware of the needs of the project.

  • Please bring all these questions to your virtual 30-min follow-up meeting. We will try to go through as many questions as we can. If you require more time, we are glad to discuss further design service options.
